What is Critical Thinking? For starters, it is just not thinking a lot. It is thinking about one's thinking. In fact, I contend that critical thinking can change the face of the world for the best despite culture, tradition, and beliefs. What critical thinking requires first and foremost is an admission that one can be wrong. Allowing this is the path to world peace.
