I am happy to report that I have accepted a new position with the National Center for Science Education. In my new role, I am acting as their Engagement and Outreach Specialist. I will be responsible for a number of roles including supporting teachers with challenges in teaching evolution, climate change, and the nature of science. I will be responsible for understanding and suggesting methods to address how community culture, social justice, and equity impacts science learning in diverse communities. I will also promote NCSE and develop materials for that purpose.
I’m looking forward to this opportunity as I have been a supporter and fan of their work for at least 20 years.
